Course Description
Learn the language of Business. This class presents double-entry accounting as related to service and merchandising business. It covers the accounting cycle, including journalizing, posting to the general ledger, preparation of financial statements, petty cash, bank reconciliations, combined journals, special journals, and payroll. Audit available.
This class is listed as Online Scheduled and Meets Remotely with through Zoom on Mondays 1:00 PM - 2:50 PM
Additional Optional Zoom Office Hours are available and not mandatory.
Purchase of the Pearson My Lab Accounting Learning Management system and eText Access Code is required.
The Pearson Access Code can be purchased from the PCC Bookstore for approximately $100 or can be purchased directly from Pearson for approximately $120.
A Physical 3-hole punch textbook can be purchased for an additional fee of approximately $45 in addition to the eText and Pearson My Lab Accounting Learning Management System.
Registration for the Pearson My Lab accounting and eText is required by the first Thursday of the term to remain enrolled in this BA-111 Web Online Scheduled Meeting Remote class.
