Details about this class
THIS INTRODUCTORY ANTHROPOLOGY COURSE considers contemporary human cultures from an anthropological perspective. It covers aesthetics, economics, gender, language, marriage, politics, religion, sex and worldview using inclusive and relational cross-cultural and pan- human perspectives. It considers these from for both historical and contemporary situations: the "then.", the "now"and the possible "will be", and applie aspects. The instructor is an anthropologist experienced in teaching, field research and consulting activities. Course prerequisites are WR 115, RD 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement test scores; these may be waived and order is available.
