Prerequisites
All prerequisites must be completed by the end of PCC’s winter term prior to the application deadline and passed with a grade of “C” or higher. Pass/no pass grades are not accepted.
Courses with a 7-year expiration date
The last year accepted for the 2027 application is 2020.
- BI 231Z: Anatomy and Physiology I
- BI 232Z: Anatomy and Physiology II
- BI 233Z: Anatomy and Physiology III
- MTH 111Z: Precalculus I: Functions (MTH 112Z, MTH 251Z, MTH 252Z, or MTH 253Z also meet the math requirement)
- If your approved math course has expired, you can reactivate both the course and its original grade by scoring 61 or higher on PCC’s ALEKS math placement test. Once reactivated, the course and grade will count toward your math requirement (see the prerequisite FAQ section for additional details).
Courses with no expiration date
- WR 121Z: English Composition I
- MP 111: Medical Terminology
Degree requirements that may be taken prior to acceptance
Applicants may complete the general education requirements for the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiography.
Computer literacy
The Radiography program does not require a computer science class as a prerequisite. However, success in the radiography program requires that students are confident and comfortable in their computer skills. This may include, but is not limited to, word processing, data entry, use of spreadsheets, and internet research.
