Apply to the Paramedic program
The Paramedic application is used to apply for admission to the Paramedic course sequence, the final component of the Paramedic Associate of Applied Science (AAS), Fire/Paramedic AAS, and Paramedic certificate programs. Students must complete the prerequisites and required preparatory coursework for their chosen award option before applying.
The Paramedic course sequence is intended for individuals who hold a current Oregon EMT license and want to become eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Paramedic examination. Up to 24 students are admitted each year, with the cohort typically beginning in the winter term. Applications are accepted annually from June 1 through September 1.
