The following shows department-required tools for the Auto Collision Repair program, 2024–25.
AB 100: Auto Body Basic Skills
First week
- Welding helmet
- Respirator face mask (3M 07182 or 07183)
- Respirator filter (P100)
- Leather boots
- Tool box
- Lock and key

- 6” slip joint pliers
- Diagonal side cutters

Second week

- 1/4” drive socket set with ratchet (6mm-14mm standard and deep)

AB 105: Frame Analysis and Repair
- Metric 12’ tape measure
- 3lb engineer’s hammer (cross-peen with 14-16” handle)
- 1/2” drive metric impact socket set (approx. 15-22mm standard and deep)
- 1/2” drive ratchet
- 1/2” drive breaker bar
AB 106: Panel Repair
- Particle masks
- Sanding blocks (Durablock kit)
- Plastic spreaders (4 inch)
- Blow gun
- Air tool fittings (type C – for your air tools)
