Course Adoptions
Faculty Department Chairs and Program Deans are responsible for submitting course adoption requests to Online Learning on behalf of the faculty member.
Please provide as much lead time as possible when assigning faculty to an online course. Faculty need time to become familiar with the course, work with an instructional designer, personalize it for their students, and prepare it for the teaching term. Late assignments may limit the preparation and customization that can be completed before students enter the course.
The Online Learning Database can be used by Deans and FDCs to search for (login required):
Once a request is submitted, Online Learning will work with the academic program and instructor to identify an appropriate course and determine the best approach for the assignment.
