Fire Protection students help clean up Skyline Ridge

Photos and Story by

Volunteers from around the state signed up and worked as part of Oregon’s 25th Annual Solve It Earth Day in April. Doug Smith, an instructor in PCC’s Fire Protection Program, and a dozen of his students volunteered at the Skyline Ridge clean up project in the west hills north of Forest Park. The volunteers spent hours with pulleys and rope hauling debris up the hillside to their trucks. Congratulations to all involved!
