Project Degree assists students in completing college

The Southeast Center, in partnership with the Gateway to College National Network, is now offering the Project Degree program to students who need additional assistance to complete a college education. The program is specifically designed for 18-26 year olds who have earned a high-school diploma or GED but still need pre-college level courses.
Students enrolled in Project Degree become part of a learning community of 20-25 students who take the same classes, participate in interdisciplinary projects and work together as a team to help each other succeed. A resource specialist provides each student with individualized support for their academic, financial and personal needs. Students also receive a $100 textbook voucher for the first three terms enrolled, free math tutoring, and a free course on student success.
After completing the Project Degree coursework students transition into college-level classes working toward the certificate or degree of their choosing with the assistance of a completion specialist.
