Computer classes in Spanish at new PCC Southeast Center

PORTLAND, Ore. – Spanish speakers can gain valuable computer training with two upcoming non-credit classes offered by Portland Community College this spring. Instructor Braulio Garcia conducts both classes entirely in Spanish, with all materials and examples also communicated in the language.Computadora en Espanol, a five-week class, will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, April 3 through May 1, in Room 117 of Mt. Tabor Hall at PCC’s Southeast Center, 2305 S.E. 82nd Ave. Cost is $75.Internet en Espanol, also a five-week class, will meet from 9 a.m. to noon Saturdays, May 15 through June 12, in the same location. Cost is $75. Spanish descriptions of these classes are as follows:Computadora en Espanol es indispensable para estudiantes que no tienen experiencia en computadoras. Introduce conceptos basicos de como operar una computafora y utilzarla para nuestro beneficio. Este curso es un requisito para continuar en los siguintes cursos.
