PORTLAND, Ore. – Digital photography offers so many tools for capturing great pictures of people, but few can learn how to tap them all from the camera’s set of instructions. Now you can discover how to take creative, professional-quality digital photos of your friends and family with an online class offered through Portland Community College.Finally, get your group photos to work for every person in the frame. Mastering Digital Photography: People, a non-credit class, offers the best ways to take portrait and formal group shots while harnessing digital technology. Students will learn valuable tips for retouching photos to produce a flattering image every time – even when it comes to photographing babies and children."Not only did I finally learn to take pictures my family wants to be in, I learned to share them on the Web,"read a recent student evaluation.Held entirely online via the Internet, the class offers the flexibility to open lessons whenever your schedule allows and features discussion boards with the instructor and other students.
