PCC Offers Range of Computer Classes in Newberg

NEWBERG, Ore. – Brush up on your computer skills this summer through interactive classes offered by Portland Community College in Newberg. Whether developing job skills or just for fun, these classes will teach you to become confident with software and use your computer with ease.Non-credit classes Excel I, Excel II, Power Point, and Computers for Older Adults will be taught by Todd Kunz and will be offered this summer at PCC’s Newberg Center, 301 N. Elliott Road. Course times are as follows:Excel – Level I will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through July 9. Learn how to make the most of this easy-to-use accounting software. Cost is $69.Excel – Level II will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday, July 16 through July 30. Level II will offer more in-depth instruction with spreadsheets. Cost is $69.Power Point will meet from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. every Thursday, June 27 through July 18. Master the slide show with animation, editing, formatting and more. Cost is $69.Computers for Older Adults will meet from 1 to 3 p.m. every Tuesday, June 25 through July 9. This popular class offers computer basics especially for seniors – early registration is encouraged.
