Career Planning Class Debuts at PCC This Spring

NEWBERG, Ore. – A new seven-week spring course will be offered by Portland Community College to help people explore and prepare for a new career. The class is also for those who are currently unemployed and seeking to re-enter the workforce. It will help students recognize personal goals, how to transfer the skills they have to the new job and how to construct a marketable resume. Career Planning – Finding a Job That is Right For You will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday between April 5 and May 17 in the conference room at the Newberg Job and Career Center, located at 2215 E. Hancock St. This course is a must for anyone considering a career change, but may not know the best way of going about it.This non-credit class will be taught by career coordinator Richard Lightfoot.
