Highest Enrolling Fall Courses – Success Rates

Given most students enroll in more than one “high enrolling course” during their time at PCC, improvements in these course success rates have the potential to impact a large number of students.  Success rates for the ten highest enrolling courses are summarized below.

For context, course success rate is calculated as the total number of grades including withdraws divided by the number of A, B, C, and P grades in that course.

  • Fall 2025 success rates for seven of the ten highest enrolling courses are higher than the prior two fall terms.
  • Success rates for five courses – MTH 111, PSY 201A, BI 112, MP 111 and STAT 243 – have reached or surpassed Fall 2019 pre-pandemic levels.
