The assignment for the project was to juxtapose modern vs. painterly styles. My goal was to contrast organic abstract forms with hard straight lines. I used spray bottles, airbrush and washing techniques to create a background that has an ethereal feel. Painters tape helped me to give the illusion of perspective and depth.
