The was a landscape assignment. I was interested in the contrast between the sleeping cat and the loud rushing waterfall in the background.

A painting in black and white of a candle and a box of matches in the foreground, two shadow puppets of a dragon and a knight in the mid-ground, and larger cast shadows of the puppets in the background.

A brightly colored butterfly is perched on a stem with a small blue flower. There are a few stems with green leaves to the right.
