Our assignment was to paint an image that reflects a current news article. I found a photograph in the New York Post that featured the Lithuanian wedding photographer Adas Vasiliauskas, who used his drone to capture families in quarantine. I found it heartwarming to see the family collaboration in their window. Despite the circumstances, it was encouraging to see families spending quality time together.
