The Inner Worm desires to submit to authority and the expectations of others in exchange for the promise of security and pleasure. In this vulnerable trust, she represents the base desires and the alleviation of existential anxiety offered by giving away one's freedom. Use of drypoint, acid etching, and aquatint. Addition of watercolors."
