Program Models

  • This is a program in which the course(s) is/are taught entirely abroad.
    • These programs generally run 3-4 weeks to include all content

Capstone Program

  • This is a program that is a culminating project or experience that supports the learning outcomes of a term course taught at PCC in an overseas location.
    • The time in another country that supports the course can be 10 days to 2 weeks to complete capstone.

Split Course Program

  • This is a program in which portions of the course are taught both abroad and at PCC.
    • These program dates can be flexible and are dependent on course work is being done here at PCC and what will take place overseas.

Regardless of program model, all programs are required to collaborate with a PCC-approved study abroad provider which has been vetted by PCC, based on best practices around health and safety, security, and access.
