Ed Abroad 101 for Faculty

One of the first steps in the faculty-led proposal process is to attend an Education Abroad 101 Workshop specifically designed for interested faculty. This is a required part of the process prior to proposal submission.

Our next in-person Ed Abroad 101 workshop will be held September 26, 2025 from 10-12 at the Cascade Campus in Terrell Hall 112.

  • Registration is required. Please complete the Google form to register for the in-person session. Can’t make it but want to propose for the 2027 cycle. Please complete the form and we will reach out with next steps.

The Ed Abroad 101 workshop covers the following essential information for faculty interested in proposing to lead an Ed Abroad program through PCC:

  • How Ed Abroad Works at PCC
  • Resources for Proposing Faculty
  • Who Studies Abroad at PCC
  • Faculty and Provider Roles and Responsibilities
  • Program Models & Experiential Learning
  • Timeline & Process
  • Previous Ed Abroad Programs @ PCC
  • Thoughts on Decolonializing Ed Abroad

For 2027 proposals:

  • 2027 proposal application will be linked here in September 15th.
