1-on-1 computer instruction

desktop Most of us use only a fraction of the tools accessible via our computers. Work at your own pace with an expert and patient instructor to identify and work toward your personal technology goals. Topics range from the ins and outs of using your computer and common software programs to creating a basic website or working on a special project. For Mac and PC users.

Program details

  • Instructors will meet with each student for 1.25 hours for the first session and 1 hour for subsequent sessions.
  • Use sessions within the term; no refunds for unused sessions. Individual sessions must be canceled with your instructor 24 hours in advance; otherwise, the session is counted against your package total. You must be registered before participating in a session.

Refund and drop policy

If you want to drop, you must do so online in MyPCC one (1) day prior to the first day of the term. If you need assistance dropping the class after the start of the term, please contact Community Ed at communityed@pcc.edu. No drops or refunds on partially used coaching packages. Zita has taught computer applications for over 20 years, including Microsoft Office, web design (HTML and CSS), photo/graphics editing, desktop publishing (brochures, newsletters, flyers, ebooks), presentations, Canva, Google apps and more. Zita cannot help with cell phones. Please contact her upon registering in order to schedule. Include a working phone number.

Steve Roberts

Steve has over 20 years of experience in K-12 and college educational technology. Whether it’s iWork, Google Workspace, iMovie or another app, he employs a “learn by doing” approach, guiding others in developing the Mac skills they desire. Always learning, he is currently exploring video streaming and AI literacy.
