2nd Edition Resale Shop (Cedar Mill Community Library Association): Acquire valuable retail skills and learn firsthand how a successful non-profit works

An upscale secondhand shop, 2nd Edition Resale Shop is Cedar Mill Library’s permanent fundraiser. Learn to provide friendly, efficient customer service; to present a tidy, welcoming shop with great merchandise; to operate a cash register and credit card reader; to conduct accurate transactions and to represent and benefit a community mainstay, the public library.

The shop is open noon-6pm Mon; 10am-7:30 Tues; 10am-6pm Wed-Fri, 10am-4:30pm Sat, and noon-4:30pm on Sundays. Shifts are 3 hours, once a week for six months, minimum, and all training is provided. Many shifts available, including weekends. Located in Cedar Mill at the intersection of Cornell Rd. and Saltzman.

About the Organization

The Cedar Mill Community Library Association, organized by local volunteers in 1974, is a 501(c)(3), tax exempt corporation dedicated to providing public library services. 2nd Edition Resale Shop, opened in 1987, is a permanent fundraiser for the organization, which provides library services to the Cedar Mill-Bethany community seven days a week.
