Your Voice Matters: DCA Town Hall on Local Emergency Accommodations

Posted by

Portland Community College Disability Cultural AllianceThe office of Accessible Ed & Disability Resources and the Disability Cultural Alliance, alongside local community partners, is hosting a vital virtual Town Hall to discuss a proposed Local Emergency Accommodation Program—and we want to hear directly from you!

Why Your Voice Matters

If you have a disability, care for someone who does, or are simply worried about how your specific needs might be handled during a crisis, this is your platform. The organizers want to know:

“What would you want a first responder to know about your access needs in case of an emergency?”

The goal is to use your feedback to directly shape how local emergency accommodations are designed, ensuring that first responders are equipped with the insights they need to support everyone safely and effectively.
