Mission and vision
PCC’s Unity Crew is a grassroots, employee-led initiative designed to build community, celebrate employee contributions, and nurture an inclusive culture across Portland Community College.
By empowering local leaders to build site-specific councils, Unity Crew ensures that employee engagement is created by employees, for employees—reflecting the distinct spirit of every campus, center, and operational team, with centralized strategic guidance and support.
Scope
PCC’s Unity Crew exists to organize events for employees to further a positive and inclusive work environment, support employee well-being and engagement, and foster a sense of community within Portland Community College.
Objectives
- Networking and engagement: Provide a variety of engagement opportunities throughout the year for networking and community building.
- Fostering a sense of belonging: Strengthen and build relationships among employees to create a positive and supportive work environment.
- Improving employee well-being: Build institutional and personal capacity for employee well-being.
