Jeannie Winn
On Monday, January 20, 2025, PCC employees gathered at the Sylvania Campus to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy through a dedicated Day of Service. The event, organized by the PCC Unity Crew, provided an opportunity for employees and their families to engage in meaningful volunteer activities that reflect Dr. King’s commitment to equity, justice, and community empowerment.
Board Chair Tiffani Penson provided a warm welcome to set a positive tone for the day’s activities, fostering a sense of unity among participants.
Volunteers worked on various activities including decorating placemats for Meals on Wheels clients, adding a personal touch to meal deliveries; assembling shelf-stable meal kits for the Panther Pantries, supporting fellow students facing food insecurity; and land-tending projects,
The PCC Unity Crew extends heartfelt thanks to all volunteers and their families for their time and dedication.
By coming together in service, the PCC community not only honored Dr. King’s legacy but also strengthened the bonds that make our institution a place of inclusivity and compassion.
