To better serve our students, faculty, and staff, Banweb will be upgraded this fall! Students and employees will benefit from a more modern mobile-friendly system to enhance navigation and user experience.
The new version will be available Monday, October 27, 2025.
What’s new?
This upgrade primarily focuses on a refreshed user interface with improved navigation and a mobile layout. The underlying data and processes remain mostly unchanged. See more info for faculty and staff: What’s new in Banweb 9 [Spaces].

The previous interface was more likely to lead to support calls and the creation of complex training materials.

The new interface is simple and user-friendly, allowing most tasks to be completed intuitively.
Why upgrade?
The vendor (Ellucian) is discontinuing support for Banweb 8, PCC’s current version. All support, updates, and patches for Banweb 8 will end after 2025. The upgrade will make sure our student systems continue to be supported and operating efficiently.
Banweb 9 and Workday
PCC is in the process of transitioning to Workday. Workday Student will launch in 2027. Banweb 9 bridges the gap between Banweb 8 and Workday Student, making sure that critical operations, like registration and grading, are running on supported systems during the transition.
