Details about this class
The demand for screen content has never been greater - from bingeable television series to mobile content to feature films! If you have a concept but no idea how to execute it, if you've ever watched something and thought, "I could write that!" or if you're simply a storyteller looking to experiment with a new format, this course will equip you with the fundamentals of writing for the screen.
Coupled with analytical readings of popular and award-winning television pilots, students will discuss the art, craft, and business of screenwriting while working on their own original projects. Later in the quarter, the class will take part in a simulated Writers Room which mirrors the real world of television writing.
