This introductory-level International Relations course provides a broad overview of the key concepts, theories, and issues that shape global interactions in the contemporary world. Students will explore the following topics: International Relations theory (with an emphasis on Realism and Liberalism), international security, international organizations, international law, human rights, humanitarianism, international political economy, and global environmental politics. Through critical analysis of historical events, current conflicts, and emerging global challenges, students will develop a more nuanced understanding of how political, economic, and social factors intersect on the international stage.
