Details about this class

This course is fully in-person for both the lecture and lab components. Lectures are held twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays), and the lab meets once a week (Tuesday).

Lecture (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

The lecture portion of this course will take place in-person every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 10:50 AM. Pre-recorded videos of all lectures will be provided on D2L, and students are required to watch them before attending class. During class, we will review the material you watched and address any questions you may have.

 

Lab (Tuesdays): 

The lab portion of this course will take place in-person every Tuesday from 12:00 PM to 2:50 PM.  Students will work on the lab and take measurements in groups during class time and complete the lab report after class.

 

Assignments

All assignments (homework and  lab reports) and their due dates will be posted on D2L. Due dates may be updated throughout the term if needed.

Textbook (not required to purchase):
Physics for Scientists and Engineers, 4th Edition by Randall D. Knight, Pearson.
This is the edition we will use for the course.
