Details about this class
This course will be conducted in a format combining online and in person elements. The content (lecture) part of the class is online with detailed video lectures and lecture notes for each chapter. Labs will be in person and will be held on the Rock Creek campus.
The class grading will include a weekly discussion, weekly homework, lab worksheets and 3 exams.
The textbook for this course is a custom version based on Conceptual Physical Science, 6th edition by Hewitt, Suchocki, Hewitt with only the chapters we need. For the textbook there are 3 purchasing options:
- Print version: Custom text available at the PCC Bookstore, or
- eText purchased through the PCC bookstore - you will get an access code which you can enter at the textbook link given in #3 below, or
