A warm welcome to all of you! I’m really excited to work with you this session.

Please register for this class only if you can commit to attending, as we’ll be doing class notes, group activities, projects, and interactive discussions during our in-person time together. Your presence makes a big difference.

Please plan to attend all class meetings. We’ll work on class note sheets that mirror your homework, participate in labs and group work, and complete quizzes during class time. All course resources will be available once the session begins.

You’re encouraged to interact with me and with your classmates — learning feels so much better when we’re connected. Before coming to class, please read and watch the YouTube links listed in the schedule. This small step will help you feel prepared and ready to work through homework-style problems in class.

The homework is completed using the WebWork platform, so you will need access to a laptop or computer. Office hours are held on Zoom; therefore, a microphone and webcam are required. For graphing purposes, you will also need the Desmos calculator app.
