Details about this class
The ENGR221 lecture and lab is an in-class course experience. ENGR221 is about the basic theories of electrical circuits using DC sources. During our weekly lectures, we will have homework, occasional quizzes throughout the term, two midterms, and a final exam as well. In the lab portion of the class, we will learn how to use test equipment while implementing and learning basic electrical concepts and theory. This course is set up for all engineering disciplines as a part of the engineering requirements.
Technology
For ENGR221, students will need a reliable computer or laptop to perform simulations using LTspice (Free download), Multisim (Student version), and Tinkercad (Free download). This may be done in conjunction with lab or homework. The use of a thumbdrive or one-drive will be needed.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
