Details about this class

Hi, I’m Sarah Coffer and I’m excited to be your teacher for Level 4 Communication this winter. You do not need to purchase a textbook for this class; I will provide free study materials that we will use. We will practice speaking, listening, pronunciation and presentation skills in our class. These skills will help you communicate in your everyday life at work and at school. We will discuss many interesting topics; I think you will have fun learning and practicing together in our class. Just bring yourself and some supplies with you like a notebook or binder and lined paper as well as your favorite pens and/or pencils. I will supply the rest and, hopefully, your confidence as a speaker and listener of English will grow a lot over the term!

Looking forward to meeting you. See you in January!

Technology

You will have access to free resources that we will use in our class. To access these materials, you will need Internet access on a device such as a computer/lap top, tablet, or smartphone. Also, you will need to be able to print out and/or download documents for use in class and for homework. If you don't have a printer at home, you can print materials at the Computer Lab in the SE Campus Library.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
