Welcome to Level 8 Academic Writing!

This writing course for advanced students of ESOL offers an integrated approach to metacognition and critical thinking skills, research and source evaluation skills, standard composition and grammar skills, and academic vocabulary skills.

Technology

Students will be expected to use Google Docs for essay assignments. Students will submit some other assignments to D2L (online.pcc.edu). Students will be expected to occasionally bring printed essays to class for peer review. Students will need reliable access to the internet to complete the above requirements and to use the online textbook.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
