Welcome to Communication 6!

This class requires a lot of talking, so it's important that you come to each class so you can practice! Our speaking activities will focus on both fluency (talking while thinking in English) and accuracy (using correct grammar and pronunciation). Our listening activities will be academic videos on a wide range of topics.

You do not need to buy a book for this class. Everything you need will be given to you in class.

Technology

For listening and speaking homework, you will need a computer, tablet, or phone with internet access. You will use our D2L shell for pronunciation practice. You can also use the campus computer labs for these activities if you don't have access to them at home.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
