Details about this class

Hi! My name is Davina, and I'm excited about our Writing 5 class this Winter!

All the materials you will need for this class are in D2L: you don't need to buy a book.

You'll do a lot of discussion with classmates for this remote class and you will need to keep your camera on during class!

Here is some other useful information:

  • How to log in to MyPCC – video link — If you need your username, please contact me.  Do NOT contact the teacher in the video, please!  This video is also very helpful for setting up your MyPCC account.
  • Be sure to pay for your class! Ways to Pay Tuition at PCC
  • How to Pay in MyPCC
  • You can pay your tuition by phone! Call Student Accounts at 971-722-8888, option 3!
  • If you drive to college, you must buy a parking permit. Parking is free the first week. After that, you will get a $25 parking ticket if you don't have a parking permit. The parking permit costs $50 and it lasts until the end of the term. I can help you buy the parking permit on campus or you can buy it online using MyPCC. If you only come to campus for a short visit, buy a $2.00 2-hour parking pass from the machine.
  • Here's an introduction to using Google Docs and D2L for my class.

Please email me (davina.ramirez@pcc.edu) or text me (503.975.4511) with any questions.

I am looking forward to meeting you!
