Details about this class
Note: Beginning Fall 2025 You are required to register for the linked sections of CH221Z and CH227Z that I teach (CRN 15163 (CH221Z) CRN 15164 (CH227Z). You must be able to attend both lecture and laboratory meetings to successfully complete this course. There are no remote or makeup labs for this course. Students will work in pairs during the lab and share materials.
Students will be responsible for printing the necessary pages of the CH 227Z lab manual each week. Electronic files will be provided on our D2L page. Safety goggles are also required and are available to borrow in the laboratory (they are sanitized between lab periods). If students do not wish to buy their own these are also available in the bookstore.

Since the class content will be delivered via D2L an internet connection is required. A webcam is not required.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
