Details about this class

Thank you for considering this course!

For the CCOG (Course Content and Outcome Guide) of this course please simply click the link. Both the lecture and lab components for this course will be in-person at the PCC Rock Creek campus. We will meet in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 9-10:20 am (lecture) and from 11am-12:20 pm (lab). You need to be able to attend both lecture and laboratory components in order to register for the course. Because lecture and lab sessions are in person, there will not be zoom recordings of the classes. Lecture slides will be posted on the class website in D2L.

This class will include completing in-class group problem-solving activities, clicker questions, hands-on laboratory experiments, lecture and lab homework assignments, weekly quizzes, mid-term exams, and a cumulative final exam.

No textbook purchase will be needed since we will be using a free online OER textbook.

I will contact enrolled students by email near the beginning of the term with more information on the course. You may contact me for more information at xiaoyan.tang@pcc.edu.
