Technology
Must have access to a camera, preferably with the ability to make photographs in "Manual" mode-meaning that you are able to adjust shutter, aperture and ISO (film speed or light sensitivity). Manual cameras are available for check out from the library. ANY camera will do (including your phones!).
A tripod is useful, but not necessary, and can also be checked out from the library.
Please have access to internet, PCC websites, PCC emails, PCC D2L.
Helpful but not required:
- Card reader/Camera cable: For downloading your images to your computer. This will be important if your computer does not have an SD card slot (optional)
- Hard Drive/Thumb Drive
- Film: If you are shooting analog
- Microsoft Office or equivalent (Google Docs, Word, etc). You must be able to save files as doc, docx, or pdf format.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
