Details about this class

In this class, you will design a multi-family affordable housing building using Autodesk Revit, producing a complete digital model and a set of schematic design drawings. The project emphasizes integrating affordable residential units with robust community programming while adhering to urban site constraints and local building codes. 

Technology

Required Technology: 

  • Reliable PC laptop/desktop* equipped with:

    • Educational copy of Revit 2026

OR: 

  • Educational copy of AutoCAD and SketchUP (free version works great!)

  • Microphone

*You may use the lab computers at the Sylvania campus if you do not have your own PC

Optional Supplies: 

  • Trace Paper 

  • Pens, pencils, markers

  • sketchbook 

  • USB drive (highly recommended!)
