Here's a little video introduction about me and what we'll be doing together in class! In it you'll see tips on how to succeed.
Advanced Reading and Writing Introduction and Tips
Here’s a summary about the class and what we will be learning to do. You don’t have to buy anything.
How class is organized:
- Times are Monday and Wednesday 10 - 12:50 p.m. with breaks
- Class in Scott 200, Southeast Campus
- Monday focus reading skills
- Wednesday focus writing skills
Note: This is an in person class only.
Work:
- Attend approximately 6 hours week to class time
- Participate in reading and writing activities in class
- Analyze media sources
- Use computers, including D2L, where we keep materials

Technology
We'll be using chromebooks and Southeast campus computer labs. You are welcome to bring your own laptop!
