Hello and welcome to Communication 7!

I’m Sarah Coffer and I'm excited to be your instructor this summer. This course is a fun and exciting way to practice listening, speaking, pronunciation, and presenting skills. In the end, you will have more confidence when talking with a partner, sharing information in small groups, and presenting reports to the whole class. You can use these new skills in college classes outside of ESOL and in your work outside of PCC. 

This course meets in person on campus. You do not need to buy a book. All materials will be provided in class or on D2L.

Technology

You will need to access MyPCC, D2L, Google, and PCC email for homework. You will need headphones or speakers to be able to watch videos online. You will need to be able to make recordings from your computer or cell phone. If you do not have this technology at home, you can use the computer lab at a PCC library or borrow equipment from the library to use at home.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
