Welcome to ESOL Level 5 Communication!
I’m Susan Moser, the instructor for the ESOL 154/154N class in the Summer 2026 term. You can call me Sue.
We will meet on ZOOM every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:20pm.
The first class meeting is on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.
We will practice our skills with speaking (including pronunciation) and listening (including vocabulary) in American English. We will watch videos, read information, play games, and have fun as we learn.
There is no textbook for this communication class. We will use free online resources.
You will receive more info about the class content and materials in the first week of the class.
Registered students will receive the class ZOOM link a couple days before the start of the class.

Technology
You will need a microphone and webcam to participate in the class meetings on ZOOM.
You will also use MyPCC, D2L Brightspace, VoiceThread, and Google docs to complete assignments for this class.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
