Details about this class

The course work consists of 4 assignments and 3 quizzes. There will also be practice material provided as well. No penalty applied to late assignments and quizzes. All assignments and quizzes can be re-taken once and are due at the end of the quarter.

There will be lecture Zoom sessions on Tuesdays from 10AM to 12:50PM. These are OPTIONAL attendance and will be recorded.

There will also be office hour/lab Zoom sessions on Thursdays from 10:00AM to 12:50PM where students can drop in anytime between 10AM and 12:50PM to ask questions, get help, etc. These are also OPTIONAL attendance. If this time period is not convenient, students are welcomed to arrange another zoom session with the instructor.

Technology

Must have a computer and access to the internet. Also need SSH terminal emulator software (such as PuTTY) to connect to department’s Linux machine.

No show policy

Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
