PURPOSE:  The focus of this course is to provide an opportunity for students to learn about career planning. It is recommended that students take this course to help them secure internships and better prepare for work in their desired field once they graduate.

COMPLETION:  Upon completion of the course, students should be able to:

  • Apply tools to research, evaluate, and select employment opportunities in the business field to further career success.
  • Develop employment documents and networking skills to present favorably to potential employers and improve career opportunities.

TEXTBOOK:  There is no required textbook for this class.  However, you must purchase StrengthsFinder 2.0 by Gallup with a valid access code for taking the online assessment. (Make sure it is a new book with a new access code.)
