Creative Writing for Beginners: Slowed Down and Zoomed In
This storytelling and craft class is for beginners looking for an in-depth, slower-paced class. We'll read and dissect stories and excerpts, then practice in-class writing exercises. Finish class with a completed story or essay.
We'll talk about what we liked (or didn't like) about the story, then we'll borrow themes and ideas from those same stories in our in-class writing exercises. This class is great for non-native English speakers, people with memory or cognitive impairment, and people who haven't been in many writing classes before.
