Details about this class
This is a transfer-level non-academic writing course, so we'll be thinking about writing for the world outside of the academic world. This is the world of work, professional pursuits, and citizenship/community.
Technology
The most important thing is to have working equipment that allows you to do your work. Since this is an in-person, on-campus class, you'll need to attend twice weekly class sessions on campus at scheduled times. You will submit most work in class on paper. Make sure your devices work well enough to help you complete required projects and homework.
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
Students with disabilities
Students with disabilities should notify their instructor if accommodations are needed to take this class. For information about technologies that help people with disabilities taking Online based classes please visit the Disability Services website.
