Details about this class
SPA 111C is a one-credit conversation course that is taught in conjunction with SPA 101. Attendance is required twice a week for 25 minutes each (50 min/week). This 111C (CRN 20779 ) meets TR from 6:00 to 6:25 and is the recommended section for SPA 101 (CRN 20462.) The conversation class meets right before 101, and is taught by the same instructor.
Why should I take SPA 111C? This conversation class functions as the speaking laboratory where you practice what you are learning in SPA 101. With your instructor’s guidance and support, you will work together with your classmates on listening and speaking skills. Communication is the main goal of our SPA program, and 101 + 111C is the perfect combination to develop your communicative skills.

Platforms for this course include Zoom, D2L Brightspace, and VHL Supersite (included in the textbook package sold through the PCC bookstore).
No show policy
Your instructor can mark you as a "no show" if you do not participate in your class during the first week. This will remove you from the class.
