Details about this class

Welcome to PSY 202 - Introduction to Psychology II

I am so excited to meet each and every one of you! PSY 202 will provide you with an overview of psychological sciences with particular attention to emotion and motivation, personality, psychological disorders, therapy and treatment, health psychology, social psychology, and human development.

This class meets in person on Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 3:50 pm. We will be meeting on the Rock Creek campus, in building 5. As this is an in-person course, it is expected that students attend all class meetings. Attendance and participation is a graded component and is worth 15-20% of your final course grade! Additionally, attendance on the first day of the course is required to stay enrolled in the course.

This course has several different graded assignments including the written signature assignment papers (required as the course meets General Education requirements), quizzes, module assignments, and in-class open note exams.

All course materials are posted within D2L. All assignments, quizzes, and tests will be completed within the course's D2L shell.

I look forward to meeting you in class this spring!
