Students are required to attend every class meeting. You are allowed one unexcused absence without penalty. Further unexcused absences will reduce your final grade. Arriving late and leaving early are considered absences if not approved by the instructor. You are encouraged to seek instructor approval as soon as you know you need to miss class, arrive late or leave early. If you are absent, please arrange to receive notes and any assignments given in class from a fellow student.
If you miss three or more of the classes for this course without prior instructor approval, you cannot receive a grade higher than a C.
