Important to note: you do have free access to our assigned textbook through the PCC Library. You do need the textbook for the course, and copies are fairly inexpensive, but you do have the option to use online access through the library. There is a limit on the number of users that can access the book at any one time.

• I use labor-based grading in my courses, which means that the grade you earn is up to you and the amount of work you decide to complete (there's a section on this in the sample syllabus below). While there are requirements and standards for your work, if you meet them then your work receives credit. There are due date requirements, but partial credit is available for assignments submitted past the due date.
